Stekbedrijf De Laat was created on 13 november 2013.

The company has been newly built in Neerpelt, Belgium by Alexander (nephew) and Karel (uncle) De Laat. In 2015 we had to say goodbye to Karel and the company has been under the direction of Alexander since.

​

At first, our company was outfitted with 2 high-tech greenhouses (a tropical one and a hardening one) with a productivity area of +/- 8000 m², yielding about 5 million seedlings annually. Because of high demand and large orders, we have been expanding since 2015 by adding classical tunnel greenhouses and renting extra space. In 2018, we are opening a 2nd production facility in Hamont, totalling a production capacity of about 14 to 16 miljoen seedlings annually.

We produce all year around, with a strong and dynamic team loaded with experience. They are the beating heart of the organisation who deliver high quality end products.

All orders are to be collected onsite in Neerpelt, unless differently agreed. You can also ask us to deliver the orders to your facility at a fair price per cart that is based on order size, our production planning and distance to your company.
